I didn't even know that little piece of hose came off. I fished around with a bicycle spoke, but no luck.
Anyone got an idea for getting it out that doesn't involve dissasembly? |

Blind. I checked and the type of hose I was using is doesn't float either.
Next time I'll use a much longer hose. I'll fish around some more, then I'll remove the transmission and turn it upside down. A pain, but easier than turning the whole boat upside down. |

The right combination of 4 letter words and a lucky bend in the spoke, and the tube is out.
I recommend against anyone taking chances with a lousy pump setup like mine. I was pretty worried there for a while. |

Next time rather than even stick any length of plastic in the trans use a length of copper,there have been instances of the plastic getting caught inside requiring trans disassembly
