I purchased a factory original glove box for my 1970 mustang, it's going to cover up a ***************ty gaping hole in the dash where the PO put a 1980's tap deck.
I have some wiggle room as to where to place it. i was hoping someone here has one installed an could give me the dimensions off the steering wheel where it starts? I think gary has one, tim you might have one? Also the height off the bottom of the dash to where i starts. Anything would help. Thanks. |

I was wrong it's 6 screws---
The hole in the dash measures 16 1/4" over from the steering bezel and 2" up from the bottom. To make it look original cut it with your eyes closed The angle of the first one makes it look more than 16 1/4 |

Gary,
I was a lazy ***************er while on my 4-5day vacation, didn't even pull the boat out of the garage, so the glove box is just sitting in the passenger seat still in the box cudechris sent me....So that's a job for next year now....i'm hoping to have 10days up there. I just couldn't put the boat in the water for only 4 days....i would have spent 1 day winterizing the damn thing again. So anyways, next year it will be getting the box and used like it was meant to be used when i bought it 2 years ago. |
