I have a 1974 southwind with a 351w righ hand rotation. This weekend had it out and was running great went to go put it on the trailer half way to the ramp it started to slip in and out of gear. Stopped and checked my linkage went to restart and it would not fully go into gear pulled the tansmission linkage off and manipulated the transmission with my hand and it still would not fully go into gear then i had nothing at all. Checked the fluid and it was low is this the pump or did i burn my clutch up, same exact thing was happening in the reverse gear also. Believe it is a 1:1 velvet drive, Any help is much appreciated.

Low fluid + ramp = sucking air = your symptom
