Thanks to Timmy B I am now in search of a non deluxe windshield from a 60s Mustang or Skylark. I am interested in the one piece Plex style windshield if anyone knows of one.

Zach, going from memory, those plexi windshields on the mustangs were 60" wide and 15" tall and usually made by Taylor Made. I have a water bonnet ok my skier that I'm guessing is the same size as well. Pretty sure these were generic windshields that came on many make and models of boats- keep your eyes peeled on Craigslist and eBay for someone parting out a Starcraft!

I wish you had brought up that topic last week, we might have been able to bring one down for you.

We can figure something else out later Bruce. No hurry. Tim, good info my friend. I think the SL is a Bonnet windshield. Regardless if it looks close I am fine with it.
May be headed back to New Castle to buy a truck this week to get rid of that big red turd I drove up there. |
