Greetings,
After being without a CC since '01, my family is once again back on the water. By sheer coincidence or divine intervention, we stumbled on a '68 Mustang about 15 minutes from where we live. Hadn't been looking for a boat this old, but she was too nice to pass on. Everything is pretty much intact and the 289 motor sounds perfect. The upholstery is very good but I believe it's been updated due to the motor box being padded. The vinyl looks to be CC material and nicely done. All of the reference material I see does not show a padded motor box. Comments? Also I'm curious if the Mustangs came with a skeg midway down the underside of the hull. This boat does not have one, but either it did have one and its gone, or someone tried to add one in the last 38 years. I'll post pics soon.

I don't think the Mustangs had skegs. My 74 never has. Congratulations and welcome aboard!
