Im not a fiberglass expert by NO means but I think you're ok. They we're probably already there. I have a Carolina Skiff, I ordered it new. After about 6 months in a few spots I've had similar cracks appear with absolutely no trauma to cause it. 9 years later they haven't become a problem yet. I've read when Carolina Skiffs "settle" they're prone to crack as well as others.

They might have come out with temperature changes. Regardless, they are a cosmetic issue only & not worth a re-gel, IMO.

You could buff the surface out to a high gloss, then they might be less visible.

How do you like the boat overall? Had it out yet?

I've taken her out a handful of times just to cruise and get familiar with everything. I've wanted this boat since high school and so pumped to finally have it. The wake is unreal and the boat runs so smooth.

Such an amazing boat and can't wait to ride behind it.

The gel is probably just too thick in that area. The rear corners are two of the strongest points on the hull.

Apparently they're very typical and not a problem. multiple service folks said.

I sure do agree plus, it looks like the pitot itself has been modified The two bottom hole centers don't match the fastener centers. In this case regarding the cracks, I'd say it's a classic case of not counter boring the gel so the fastener doesn't put any stress on it.

I know it's a bummer. I have seen massive spider cracks across the back and sides of some boats. Your boat looks like a clean, super nice Nautique. Try and enjoy it. I like the looks, colors. My brother has a 1996 Super Sport. Amazing ride, really nice and smooth on the water with very little bow rise.

Look forward to your first ride. Have a blast!

Probably not related but when I trailer the boat I like the gas tank about empty. (No extra weight bouncing around needlessly.)
