This is a great forum. I bought a 1991 CC Excel with a Chevy BB last summer. The family and I had fun on it last year. Trying to get it ready for this year. The front seat that lifts up to get under the bow, has two gas cylinder to hold up the seat. There was a 30 lb sticker on the cylinder so I order two new ones thinking I had a bad one.   Nope mine are good and I even put the new ones on and they couldn't lift it up. My question is what pound gas cylinders do I need?

A boat dealer could only find 120lb cylinder in an old parts manual. He was not sure if that was for the single cylinder lift or mine the two cylinder lift. If you could look on your boat the part number might be SL#-??. The question marks are the pounds of lift. thanks

Surprise surprise, a previous owner put the wrong part on. Thanks for the help. It's one 120lb lift cylinder.
