I am doing my first wet sanding of the boat since owning it for a month. I would say light to medium oxidation but otherwise the gel coat is good.
My main question is how good should it be after just wet sanding? I have done one side and it shines but it is still "cloudy" underneath the shine.. (I might be on the over critical side when looking at it). I just don't know how it should be before proceeding. . I plan to compound, Polish, and Wax next. Any tips are appreciated. |

I went to the FAQ section and found a ton of good info. If you guys have other advice send it on, otherwise I will use the info I found in the FAQ.

One more thing. How do I know when to change to a new sheet of sand paper?

Gary,
You'll notice the paper not cutting anymore. |
