54. triton injector question

I use it to tow my boat so its relevant. Sort of.
Long story but R&R ing the intake on the tow rig. I was cleaning the injectors for new O rings for installation and saw this broken seat.
My parts guy says he has a tip and O ring kit so the parts are available.
Originally I wondered if I had to replace it. Now, after trying to remove it, my question is how do I change the top hat seat thinghy majigger? It twists but doesn't want to come off and I don't have the new one in hand as of yet.
You guys are the only Ford guys I trust. .. actually your the only Ford guys I know but nontheless. anybody wrestled one of these?
