    Posted: January-29-2016 at 6:50pm
I have an original swim platform and the brackets from my 79 Ski Nautique. I am going with something different, and I think it would be better to let someone else use this nice deck rather than me modifying it to my purposes. I am also willing to sell the brackets and deck separately.

If there is interest, I can take pictures for you. Thanks.

Alan,
I'm curious as to what "different" direction you want to head with the platform.

Plywood and fiberglass with hydroturf traction, for safety reasons. I do prefer to keep the boat looking original, but I've seen too many people have accidents on teak. Hopefully my platform will help someone else with their restoration.

If you do not sand it or put any type of sealer on it it will not be slick. Leave some grain on the surface and oil it.   Another option is to put SeaDek on it.

I would be interested, but Idaho is a long way from me. Plus I am sure that shipping would be a nightmare.
