Wanted to run it by you guys. I recently replaced the circulation hose from the bottom of the impeller housing back to the transmission cooler with soft sided hose because I didn't have reinforced hose available. I've since learned that this house is under negative pressure and needs to be hard sided, which I'm replacing today. However I ran the boat for about an hour up to 3000 RPMs for 20 to 30 minutes at a time twice without any obvious overheating issues. I had water circulating and flowing from the rear flaps at the boat, and the trans cooler never got more than warm to the touch. I'm thinking I will change my transmission fluid soon just as a precaution, even though it's less than a year old. Trans seems to be running fine with no issues, I don't think I've damaged the tranny butt would you guys be concerned about any slight overheating or damage under this scenario? Thanks in advance for any feedback

Jeff,
If you had water coming out with the exhaust, then you had water flowing through the trans cooler.

No worries. Replace the hose, but it sounds like you did not do any damage.

Trans fluid should be changed every 100hrs or annually. Sounds like you are fine, if things would have overheated for an extended period you likely would have smoked the motor not the trans. Check your motor oil also, it should be changed every 50hrs.
