Hi all, have done a pretty thorough search of old posts regarding the correct size rope for the rub rail on our '82 Tique. All I can find is that the later boats were 5/8th but the earlier ones looked smaller. Mine measures about 10-12mm inside but I gather it has to be a pretty snug fit. What's the correct size? And it's poly-propelene right??

I used 5/8 blue and white braided nylon, instead of the all white that was in it, on mine.
