I have a '92 Nautique and a Ram-Lin trailer. The bunks on the trailer need to be replaced. They look to be milled or at least twisted to fit the contour of the hull, so I don't think a PT 2x4 from the local lumber mart will work, or will be an easy substitute. I can't find anyone who sells the bunks. Any ideas?

buy a 2x12. then plop it on top. scribe the shape of the old one onto it. cut it with a skillsaw. slap it back on and cover it with carpet.
Or you can buy the 2x4 extra super long, secure it at one end then ratchet strap it into place as you move from one mount to the next. |

It's pretty easy to find a twisted 2X at the store I shop at! Usually there is a pile of boards tossed aside.

New and fairly fresh PT 2 x 4's should work just fine. I used a skill saw and ripped the bunks with the proper angle. Start drilling the new holes from the back of of the trailer and move forward and install a bolt to hold it in place as you work your way up the trailer. New hole.....another bolt till you get it done. Use stainless staples when installing the carpet on your new bunks.
