I just had my motor rebuilt and now I can get it started but it won't go over 1800 rpms. I tried to advance it but the idle stayed the same. what could be the problem. I thought when you advanced it the idle would rev up and then you backed it down(idle) but i can't even get that I think when I get this problem fixed i should be able to have fun the rest of the summer because it sounds really good until you hit the water.

its done . turned out to be one side of carb wasnt letting gas in ..
