Great video. It was nice meeting a few of you at Parramores on Saturday. Unfortunately, we had a small electrical issue and couldn't make it to Silver Glen. We were able to limp back to the ramp, but met a few more CCF on our way back. Glad everyone had a good time.

Well....it's been a week since we left the Ruckus and I'm finally recovered from a weeks long Vacation on the river with the best boat buds/ladies around. I can't thank everyone enough for the compliments and thanks for organizing this event. All went well according to plan for the most part and having Reid's help makes it all worth the effort in doing the SJRR. The St. Johns River Ruckus Cruise was a blast from the start as the pictures themselves will tell the story. Only mishap was Uncle Todd being bitten by a Gator but he survived and lives to tell the story. The 138 mile Journey was full of fun and boat driving skills as the crossing lakes with 25mph gusts made the trip a bit rocky and as Air206 said ..."A Right Nautical Morning"..... Big Thanks to Lester Todd for being our Taxi driver to drive us all back to J'ville after we brought the rigs down to Astor. He is truly a wonderful CCFan and loves to help/hang with us the entire weekend.
Was a great way to start off the week before the rest of the CCFans descended on Astor for the River Ruckus. Those that made it in time for the trip down river to the Dora Boat show weren't disappointed and we had a big enough group that we filled the lock with just us. Art and I had a blast playing on the river on the way back which is one reason why I love this venue as we can get away with more stunts than you can shake a stick at.

The trip to the Glen is always a favorite of the Ruckus and as always we ended up leaving late on Sat and the cookout began later than it probably should have. I think Jerry may take over the Sat night cookout as we can't seem to get off the water and fire up the grill til at least 7. MMFarmer is the GRILL MASTER. That guy can run a grill like no one I have ever seen. He gets and deserves the golden spatula award as his ribs were the bomb and the Ginormous shrimp that Jack brought added that extra touch to the meal. As always there was enough ham, ribs, and beans to go around for two meals and thanks everyone for bringing what you brought and contributing to the cookout. Only think different is we're gonna need more plates, dinnerware, and water for next year.

I asked those in attendance if we anted to continue the Ruckus yearly tradition or did we need to take a year off. The response was an overwhelming yes, can't wait till next year so............YES, we'll do it again for 2018.

Thanks again Y'all for making it a wonderful event and stepping up where and where it was needed. It's a bit of work organizing this thing but to be able to hang out for a week with this group of fantastic people makes it worth while. The Ruckus Newbies were awestruck at the friendliness and open arms of the CCFans even though they didn't own or show up with a Correct Craft. Y'all rock!

I have plenty of Ruckus Koozies for those that want a couple but did not attend. They were a big hit and if you want a few then I'll be selling them 2 for $5. They are Orange and Blue as that's what the Sites colors are. I'll carry them with me to all the minis I'm attending so see me at one or I can mail em to ya. Let me know.

It was so great catching the group of CORRECT CRAFTS as we came back from the picnic run with the boat show. How cool is that to see so many generations of CCs including my wood one. Also Art finally got to see my boat on the water and running. Mow somebody just buy it!

Lake George separates the men from the boys, or rather the Shamy's from the CC's.

Our leader,Skippers Rum-later we would stick pretty close to him

What are the chances that you would run into another banana boat ? especially where we were at---

Uncle Todd had a tough week- First this, wiring problem repaired quick after a short tow

then this - another convert to the no windshield look

If we had seen this earlier we could have warned him to be careful-

This was a tough Thursday crossing Lake George. Jackie D had gone ahead of us earlier in the day, if he had these conditions I don't know how they did it. We wondered later if these conditions helped shatter UT's windshield later when towing to the lock and dam.

The End in sight- Parramore's!

Mt Dora canal on the way to the boat show and 3 Nautiques on the way back

Here are a few pictures of our river cruise we started on at the beginning of the week. Starting out at the south end of Jacksonville on Monday and ending up at Parramores in Astor 131 miles later on Thursday. On Friday a group of us trailered the boats west to Moss Bluff lock and dam and took a 58 mile round trip to the Sunnyland boat show

Start of the trip -

After a short trip we stayed at a commercial dock since the city docks had not been repaired yet since the hurricane last fall.

Jackie D's boat with Adam and Vandygail and our Shamrock with Steve K driving

After getting settled into Parramore's, on Staurday, we headed to Silver Glen Springs. A stop by shell island for some skiing was a must. My boys attempted to slalom off the boom for the first time. After a few more times out they will get it! To finish off the evening, the BBQ was great Thanks again to Tim (Morfoot), for organizing this yearly event. The prayer and kind words for Woody was a beautiful touch. Not to mention the birthday wishes for Jackie Deen (him and his family are great!). Thanks to all who made some amazing food. We are looking forward to next year's Ruckus and hope everyone has a safe and healthy year until we see each other again!

Thanks for a great weekend with some wonderful people. My family and friends had a great time with everyone and your friendship is second to none. Even for the people we met for the first time was like we have been long time friends for years. Our weekend started with a tour of the Correct Craft factory. What an amazing experience!!! Dave, (The Godfather), did an superior job with our tour. Thanks to Scott Z for setting up this outing. On Friday, we headed to Mt. Dora for the boat show. The cruise from the dam, up to the locks, and then up the winding rivers was just amazing. More photos and events coming on the next post..........
