I have a Ford 302 with the Palmer marine conversion. I am repairing the water pump. The plastic housing is need of replacement along with seals and impeller. The impeller is a Jabsco which should not be any big deal to get. The housing is the hard part for me to locate. I talked to Depco yesterday and they said they did not have access to the housing. Do any of y'all know where i might find one? Thanks

Scott,
What's wrong with the housing? If totally worn or cracked, I suggest replacing the complete pump with a current model. Plumbing and bracketry would be needed but I'd say not that hard to do. If the housing is still good, bearings and seals are available from any industrial supply. |

The housing has excessive wear. It is grooved up.

Did the pump actually stop working? Did it still prime or are you just going by a visual that the housing is bad? |

It came out of a boat that I took in for restoration. It has not run in a few years. My first order of business is to get the engine running properly. The impeller I took out of the pump is bad but all blades are still attached.

Thanks for the info. I found the seals and impeller and reused the housing. It is working well.
