My 1989 Ski Nautique 2001 needs a little engine cleaning and bilge cleaning.. What should I use and should i wash off the engine

I have used brake cleaner on engine exterior, a little expensive i suppose, but washes the built up grime away in a hurry. Use a rag to catch the drips.
In the bilge, I use hot water & strong detergent. Mop it best you can with a rag. |
