Keep in mind some models were badged the same even though they were available in different flavors of propulsion, IO, DD etc.

Looks just like that one on ebay. Serial number will be on either a plain aluminum tag on a stringer or an elaborate 3x5" approx tag that also advises what oil to use. Somewhere someone must have pictures of these tags.

I thought about the compact skier. I just can't find any photos to verify. The HIN I have not yet found, I have checked all over the engine area, I saw some people on this forum say to check the hull and I found nothing. Since it was before 1972 would it still have a HIN? Also, I have a title but it says it's homemade boat. I don't know if it was restored and they had not title. I am sure it's not homemade. Also, the decking is exactly the same as the 1960 but I couldn't find the inboard/outboard.

The front deck routing is the same as my 1960 Atom Skier. Without measuring I'd say the length is similar also. Very unique.

Then it's got to be the I/O version of a Compact Skier. See the Eaton I/O option at the bottom of the engine listing.

The ID tag may be next to the engine attached to a stringer.

I am fresh to the boat scene, as of yet I haven't been able to find anything with a serial number. Although, I really don't know where to look. The boat is 15 foot 8 inches.

Joe,
How long is the boat? Not exactly a 61 Panther but close!

Still, could be a Panther since back then there were plenty of variables with CC's boats. The length may give us a better idea. Can you find a model/serial tag? It would start with some letters indicating the model and the serial #.

Hey guys, I have just gotten a 1961 Correct Craft inboard/outboard boat, it has an interceptor engine with Easton out drive. I am having a hard time finding information on the boat. The reason I want help identifying the boat because I cannot find any boats with my same seat set up but the 1961's. The 1961 that have the seat set up has decking that doesn't match the decking on my boat. Attached are pictures of my boat. Thank you in advance for the help!
