I have a 06 air nautique and randomly the display of the perfect pass will fade in and out but it will continue to work just fine other than the display. Does anyone have any suggestions what might be the cause of this? Thanks

Very common problem for the first generation multi line Perfect Pass displays. Usually corresponds with humidity. The only fix is replacement. The newer displays are much better. Figure about 225.00 from Perfect Pass.

Go directly to perfect pass. They sell direct for the same price as their dealers or so I have been told.
Jody Seal with Florida Inboards is a PP dealer, CCFAN member. He may also have a used unit of newer vintage to hook you up with. He pulls a lot of old systems ( Engines / Speed Controls) and installs drive by wire for Zero Off. Nice way to upgrade an old boat for hard core skiers. He is in Panama City, Florida. Also, go to www.ski it again .com. Go to the forums and look for one for sale. Go to SPEED CONTROL listing and you will find new and used Perfect Pass items for sale. Also, E-Bay has a collection and check with Great Lake Skippers. They list a lot of systems on e-bay. However, to get a good match for appearance, and proper function, I would go directly to Perfect Pass, Inc.. They are located in Nova Scotia. (Canada) and are at www.perfectpass.com They provide great customer support. |

Temporarily you can dry it out with a hairdryer if needed, BTW.
