Hello Fellow Correct Craft Heads, Any words of advice to touching up scratches in the paint on the sides of the hull? There are also some road rock dings that would be nice to fix as well. Would you use enamel, epoxy or what kind of paint? I have some experience with both epoxy and fiberglass building surfboard/paddleboards... Thanks in advance, ted

CC used Rustoleum alkyd's. and pretty much off the shelf colors. Some of the tri stripe graphics were two stock colors mixed. For the gel, I suggest one of the gel repair kits.

Below is what I have used. Light and medium blue is spot on. The darker blue, Ford Blue, is probably the correct color but existing faded so much. Good luck

Rust-oleum:
Safety Blue (7524)
Harbor Blue (7722)
Ford Blue
Old Ford Blue 248946 (engine paint, no match)
Ford Blue 248945 (engine paint, no match)
Ford Blue 7424830 (farm equipment, closes match)

Thanks Kostas, that saves an awful lot of time searching for a match. No wonder your Old Blue 84 2001 looks so good!

That's one of the wonderful things about this Correct Craft Fan site, is the literally the centuries of experiance here, and of course the sharing of that invaluable knowledge...

Respectfully, Ted
