Hello,
I've got a winter project and wonder about the rear seat. We picked up a 96 snob as a winter project and it needs upholstery. The rear upper seat section seems a little anemic and doesn't fill in all of he way to the sides and down to the seat cushions. It's made of plywood and am wondering if its stock or not upholstered Correctly. Any input requested. The upper section looks out of place for This Boat. Thanks Todd I'll try and post a pic.:.. |

Y'all sorry for the delay, I'm having a hard time posting the pic. I saw some said to place pic on desktop, it's easier. I'll have to try later.
Thanks for your patience Todd |

A stock 1996 would not have a plywood seat.

Yea, sounds like that rear seat has been replaced. Should not be ply wood. And it should fit snug and look proper.

Todd, here is a pic of the stern seat in my 93 Sport. Pretty sure your 96 SNOB would have a similar set up.

pic 1...is the front left, pretty flimsy, easily picked up with one hand.
pic 2... the rear structure is visible pic 3 ...shows the plastic rear structure... Thanks guys for the previous pics, are your seats 2 pieces, our 91 closed bow had a one piece rear seat. this is obviously 2... Thanks for your time and effort, Todd |

If I were a betting man I'd say they're home made, they quit using wood for seats long before '96
My '95 base is a one piece plastic unit and seat back is a plastic type material not sure exactly what kind never looked that close at it when I pull it out. |

Definitely a back yard hack job! A quick look in the diaries and I found this on the first page!
Todd, What did the PO tell you? |
