Hey, everyone, especially you North Carolinians. An owner is seeking a competent shop to have the stringers replaced and other items repaired on her Ski Tique. I have seen some posts from or about such a shop in NC, but don't remember the name other than that it was sort of a catchy name. Can anyone help my failing memory??

I don't think Race City Marine does that type of work. They send that stuff out to the place I recommend below.
I have had LOTS of work done by North Lake Fiberglass here at Lake Norman. Walt Goodwin and his staff have done tons of stringer replacements for some very picky customers (like me). In fact, I am dropping off my twin-engine Fish Nautique with him on Monday for some fiberglass and gelcoat work, and a new floor. North Lake Fiberglass |

Thanks, Jeff, I appreciate the recommendation. I think the shop that I had seen something about on this site is the one called "A Touch of Glass", or ATOGNC as they call themselves. They are in Iron Mountain, NC which is north of Gastonia. It looks to be a very small shop. I will send her the link to NLF. I'm sure that with your recommendation, they must be good, and best of all, they are familiar with the brand.

They are definitely familiar with the brand. Last time I was in there, they were doing stringers and floor in a Ski Tique.
