Just wondering if this is the correct sender for a '85 Nautique 2001. Motor is a 351. It's the only one skidim shows on their site.

Thanks

That is the correct one.
Just don't use one from the auto parts store; it won't read properly.

Thanks. I stopped by a local marina and they said one from an auto parts store would work. I didn't think it would.

the resistance is different on the sending units and guage, Car vs boat that is.

Never go back to that marina again to have your boat worked on they don't know anything and will rob you blind.

Got the unit on this weekend. Oil pressure now stays at 40 constant. If I give a little throttle it will rise to about 45 but otherwise steady 40 psi. I think this is ok, just expected a little more variation. Oh, that same marina sold me an impeller last year for under $20. The mechanic I spoke with might be a little "off", but it seems their parts are reasonably priced.

Mine varies between 5 psi at idle to 45 psi at wot.
I'm not worried yet. But I know I'll need some work one of these days.
