More than likely,acetone is nasty stuff. Just try putting on atf,it's not like you have a tight threaded bolt. A rusty pin will have some gaps for the atf to flow I would think.

New to me Ramlin trailer . Pin is stuck for fold away tongue. Want to put 50/50 mix acetone - transmission fluid on pin . With doing that , mix will get drip on paint , No way around it . Question - will mix eat away at the trailer paint ?
