You certainly don't see these listed very often. They bring big $$ when done. My "guess" is that it will bring in the high $30K's.   Any other guesses out there???

I wouldn't be surprised if it went in the high $30's, although I believe that's about half of what they were going for a few years ago. I hear the bottom has fallen out of the classic wood boat market.

It's kind of the wood boat version of the Batmoble.

Bruce,
You are correct that values have declined with the wood boats BUT, that's only on the ones where stainless screws have been used for new bottoms.

I'd guess the price of the Cobra will hit 40K only because it needs a good cosmetic job plus it looks like a very "quick and dirty" job was done on the bottom paint. That's a possible indication that somethings being covered up on the bottom. The other thing that bothers me is it's up on Ebay!!! Not typical of such a classic.

Fully restored I'd say 60K and even more if it had the Cal Cadillac V8 rather than the KBL.

Everyone likes to look at them, but the people that want to buy one because they remembered them when they were a kid are getting pretty old. I think there's a bigger market for boats that need to be restored rather than already restored, so this one's got the edge.

All the Cobra's that I "Googled" showed a two pc. windshield and this one shows a one pc. Also some sort of brackets on the inside for sun visors, top or something. Maybe not as original as advertised.

They were built in my hometown of Cadillac, Mi. There was reunion there several years ago and I recall like 60 out of only 108 built showed up.

I think if I were gonna own a Woody Chris Craft. This would be the one because of the extra coolness factor the tailfin adds. Cool boat indeed.

That's a lot of money, but certainly worth it imo. I wish I had some extra cash laying around.
