I got a Nautique email today with links to the 2018 line and features. The G series now has a stern thruster, check it out:
Nautique Thruster I'm so glad I held off until the 2018 model year to buy my G25! Seriously, not a bad idea at all, makes those bulky boats much more maneuverable. |

Thanks Pete, my bad on the link, I just fixed it in my post.
Yes, "Atom Stern Thruster" would be a great addition! |

and they can't build them fast enough. The easier they are to drive, the more people will buy them.

Here's what's coming on the new G32. Bigger is better correct?

It takes all of the fun backing up an inboard at the crowded ramp on a windy day after too many adult beverages.

When I get a boat with thrusters on it, it will be more properly referred to as a yacht.

So, when I watched the video I went through the 5 stages of thruster acceptance: 1) what a freaking joke, learn to drive a boat 2) thrust this, walking an inboard sideways isn't that hard 3) well maybe it helps protect a huge investment 4) if it makes people safer on the water, go for it 5) my boat is less likely to be hit at the docks by a person with 3 hours of on-water boating experience that just bought a $160,000 wake boat, Yippee thruster! |
