Found this post in NC Craigslist https://greensboro.craigslist.org/boa/d/1967-correct-craft/6513625539.html I think it's a 1965 model, what do you guys say? Have never seen or heard of this model 17 Sportsman before.

For the right price, that looks like a great restorable boat. Has the foam been removed? Are the stringers decent? All of the parts appear to be there. That is the same boat as a '65 Cuda, although a stripped version of it. They are pretty rare, although that does not necessarily mean it's worth more or is more desirable. How's the gel, especially below the water line?

Here are a few more pics. Give you an idea of gel. Fairly typical for age and level of care. Its been about 5 years since I looked at it, so memory is vague. I think the guy that had it then wanted $800, but I could be wrong. Chrome was all pitted.

Looks like checking is mostly below the water line, so that can be lived with.. . With a real good wet sanding, that boat would be pretty
