So went and did a sea trial and struck a deal. The boat performed as expected and that was all I could ask for. Don't know if all these came out of the factory with trim tabs, but they REALLY help. Got her home and have been sorting a few things out and spending some quality time with her and my Hotsy.....
Looks like exhaust manifolds are in the future (this winter) and I'm not looking forward to it. Bolt heads are rusted beyond usefulness and space is, as it always is, cramped. Thanks to all who chimed in and gave advice. It's a very cool boat and a few folks here have already asked if I wanted to sell it. Not yet anyway...kind of emotionally attached right now. She is COOL! |

Don't feel bad my bolt heads on my fresh water boat look the same, don't understand why they did not use stainless. When you go to do it,some weld a nut on to them. The heat breaks them free, the nut gives you something to get a socket onto.
Enjoy and have fun with it! |
