The manifolds came back from Crow Custom Castings and the long block came back from the engine shop. It looks like the Al Tyll Skier is going to get her original engine back. It is a RR Closed-cooled, Revley marinized Buick 300 - aluminum intake, heads, and water pump.
I will take any help at finding replacement badging for the motor and finding the correct engine color code. The automotive code doesn't correlate (it is a green/blue for the automotive models). The reference section here isn't helpful with Revley info....and my internet searches have not been fruitful. Thanks guys. |

Well, I guess they weren't red! I just did some searching and all I came up with is the blue so, looks like how you got it is the color.

I have seen 3 different blues on rebuilds/replacements - none of which quite match the original heat exchanger/valve covers.
