Hi all! This is my first post, so I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of my "new to me" Silver Nautique. From the stamp on the transom port side, it appears to be number 59 and has around 788 hours on the clock. I bought it from the original owner just last week. It's all original with the exception of the belts and hoses which are new and the trailer has been re-painted and has new bunk carpet. The day I picked it up, he presented me with the original bill of sale showing when he bought it. I felt sad to buy the man's baby away from him, but he's nearly 80 years old and doesn't use it much anymore. I promised him I'd do my best to keep it as nice as he has and as original as possible.

Not that I see any signs of salt or brackish water, but did he happen to live near the inner-coastal? I saw a beauty like that one time on Ole River near Ono Island.

That's a nice deep, clear lake. Great find. You can eat off that engine.

Don't listen, that looks like the OEM USCG approved fuel line that came on Commanders.

A good picture of both ends of the line would be informative

Looks like as well kept a boat from 86 as you'll see

Thanks everyone! I was very fortunate to run into this fine gentleman and buy his boat. He loved telling stories about his purchase and ownership. He is quite a character. He told me he was going to come check on it in a couple of years to make sure I was taking care of it. Then he said, "I might not be here in 2 years." Then he laughed.

As far as the fuel line goes, I'm not an expert on these boats, so I wouldn't know the difference, but I do know he recently had new water, fuel and exhaust hoses installed,

I'll be glad to take a few pictures of the engine area and post them.

Beautiful Boat and well taken care of. Congrats on the New Ride and welcome to CCFan. She'll turn heads where ever you take her and she'll take care of you as long as you take care of her. VERY nice find.

Sure.................They'll be a good reference for other people with Commander engines that haven't been too well preserved over the years

Great looking boat! Congrats on your purchase. Will you be boating on Smith Lake as well? Or somewhere else here in Bama?

I'll use it primarily on Smith Lake. It might make a rare trip to Guntersville or Wheeler.
