Got a 1995 SS with a GT40 muti injected engine that intermittently smokes, and I mean it smokes like we are a destroyer in WW2 laying smoke.

It does not do it under power and may or may not do it at idle.
When it does it, it's at idle or slightly under power.

The smoke looks blue, but smells like gas. On a cold start it will start in about 5 minutes. Like I said it will not do it under power, just when you let the boat sit there and idle. Really weird and tired of people asking if we need help.

Any ideas?

Maybe .... If they've never been replaced it is certainly possible given their age. Not sure why it would take 5 min of running before it would start though.
Fuel pressure regulator? Even if the regulator itself is OK, check the vacuum line connected to it. a dry rotted vacuum line would lead to a malfunctioning regulator. Check the fuel pressure while you're at it.

Check your crankcase ventilation. Maybe it is building up pressure and putting oil in your intake.   It should be under vacuum while running.   If the vacuum is working and you are building up pressure you may have fractured a top ring or two.
Blue smoke is oil burning. Black smoke is fuel burning.
At speed it may just be dispersed and hiding the smoke.
Is this engine using oil?   How long has it gone on?

I cant figure out how to post pictures. But I pulled all the plugs and one is pitch black, the rest are fine. The issue I have with the oil thing, is that it does not do it when you run it in gear at 10mph. I would think if it was oil it would do it all the time.

I pulled the intake, checking the PVC and vacuum lines. Based on the plugs I'm going to say its isolated to one cylinder. I do t have a fuel pressuregauge, but will get one today

Are the GT40 engi es batch fired or sequential?,

Sounds now like one leaking fuel injector. Replace it and see if it is fixed or if you don't think that is is the issue move that injector to another cylinder and see if the problem follows.
