The ‘93 sat from 2 weeks before my skiing accident so mid October until this weekend. Ran it on the hose once in December. Fresh gas in December. Ran it all this weekend. Hot and Cold starts are absolutely perfect. Runs great all through the rpm range except rich idle and and I’m having to lower the idle a few times a day. Due to such good starts I didn’t bother checking to see if gas was dumping at shut down. Suggestions?

What do you have for a distributor? Maybe timing weights are sticking, causing faster idle.

~3.5 yo old DUI. Didn’t check timing yet nor plugs. Plugs were replaced over summer but of course black now. I’ll check timing Tuesday along with plugs. I did check throat of carb after it sat for 40 minutes and didn’t see fuel. Choke was open. Pumped throttle while wiping down boat, got fuel, wiped more and fuel wasn’t dripping.
