    Posted: January-29-2020 at 6:54pm
Greetings - Read through most if not all of the forum threads on this topic and can't seem to find a source for hull and transom decals for my 89' SN 2001. Appears that 88' and earlier ones are available but not the 89'; specifically the "Competition Ski Nautique" for the transom and the "Ski Nautique" for the hull sides (I did find the small "2001" decals). Trying to keep the decals (and boat) as original as possible. Checked with Nautique Parts, N3 Boatworks, and Miami Nautique but to no avail. Hoping someone on this site might be able to help. Anyone have the vector file or know someone who can produce quality OEM-like decals? Appreciate any help or advice. Thanks!

Sorry I can’t help, but you said you found 1985 2001 decals ?
That’s what I need but I don’t see those.

N3 should be able to get the 89-90 decals.

Are they color specific ?
I have removed all the oxidizes stripes from the hull, the gel coat is cream color.
Would the next step be to re paint the strips, then attach decals ?

Thank-You

Repaint?

There are several factory color options for both the 85-87 and 89-90 decals.

Yes, repaint the stripes, that have been removed by wet sanding.
We’re they not originally painted on ?

No, they were originally gel (85+ on the SN).

I miss spoke,
I believe this one is an 83 hull, 84 model year.
If I could figure out how to down load picks, I would post some of bare hull, cream color.
Would love to know the proper way to restore.

Just find one similar looking in the diaries and link the photo here.

Yes, an 83 or 84 model year boat would be all paint stripes (perhaps 3 different color stripes in all) with the Ski Nautique being masked off base gel coat color.
