I use my 86SN occasionally on a lake that has a few areas full of sea weed. The cove where the boat stays has an abundace of growth. Once I get past the weedy area I have to hit reverse hard to get the weeds off the shaft and strut, I have even had to swim under to clear the debris on occasion. Has anyone used a shaft weed cutter on their boat? Any suggestions on where to buy? Impact on performance?

watch those weeds, We in the repair business luv em, they get sucked right up into the water intakes, always watch your temp gauge after running thru the weeds, It doesnt take long to overheat the engine once you run thru them
