You all know that the back seat can be completely removed. I found a simple way to keep the seat in place without the coushion. Benefits? o Less of a climb to get over the transom o The carpeted cover still allows use of the below seat storage o Looks better than if the seat was gone o Seat coushion does not get soaked Easy to build. Just duplicate the dimensions of the origional seat back. Best, use marine board. Better, use 1/2" plywood laminated with fibergla$$ on both sides. Okay, use 1/2" plywood sealed and painted. Great job! I did the same for my 78 to add storage under the seat and yes its much easier to step over and keep dry. Great minds think alike
