No, definitely not new for $1,200. Have approx 40-50 hours on them. Had them on my stroker motor when it was in the Ski Nautique.

Gary I didn’t quite understand your comment until I saw your old post about Chinese manufacturing. Wow was I ever surprised! I went out to look at my Hi-trek’s and they look like brand new on the inside. I have not ever used them in salt water so I guess that I can’t really compare but the ones I bought came from Australia and they still have the Product of Australia listed right below the Hi-Tek stamp. Hopefully the early sets were better than the later Chinese versions. I definitely do not want to screw anyone and these not only looked awesome they performed well on my stroker.

I agree with you I think the older versions are fine- I have never seen any complaints and I know others have used them in salt. I think what happened is that Alan had outsourced their manufacture due to costs and somewhere along the line something happened to the specifications. I believe he had the the business as well up for sale so who knows what the new new ones are like. If someone wants a set these being the originals and at your price would be a very good deal

Product of australia! Yes however made in China. Seen a number of those maniifolds. they are actually pretty well made and have long service life. Good price but again they are manufactured in China. |
