Here is my problem. The original guages on the mustang are still operational but they are starting to "fog." Probable Solution (1) Find a way to remove the gla$$ and remove fog effect. Probable Solution (2) Buy aftermarket guages which now brings me to the big question. What kind and what size guages will fit my application???? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Lake Horse,the inst. lamps will clear the condensation up in a hurry.Boat rigging trick for the weather we have in La.Wire them to come on with the ignition,won't hurt anything and the guages will love ya for it...................boat dr

Thanks Boat Dr but I believe we are on two different pages. The "fog" I'm speaking of is sort of a haze that has happened over time. The "fog" is constant no matter the temp. I am still able to read the guages but I would like to make the guages more presentable (better looking).

Lake Horse, If you're n search of new gauges to closely match your existing, the Teleflex (Vector Series, I believe they're called) will come close. Just check their website or a West Marine or other company catelog, as they're quite commom, and some of the more economical gauges out there.

I've got the same problem on my 77 Tique. I know it's not condensation but rather dirt and dust that has gotten in to them over the years. It's probably glued to the inside of the gla$$ when there was condensation present. I haven't tried but thought about trying to get them apart to clean the gla$$. Has anyone attemped to open up their gauges?
