Looked at an '85 SN today, most of the right side floor was separated or separating. Apparently this is not all that uncommon from what I hear.

What would I expect to get this fixed, re-fiberglassed?

Thanks,
Chris

I did all the grunt work (read grinding and interior removal) and then paid my local dealer $600 to reglass it. I then put it all back together. New carpet was $325. It is the 40 oz that goes in new boats. All total I think with misc. parts I have $1,050 in it. I would think that the grinding would have run me another $500.

The floor was separating in my 87 SN. What I found once I cut away the remainder of the floor and removed the foam was that the secondary stringers were totally separated from the hull in many places. You must remove the floor and foam (at least in an area around the stringer large enough to work) and replace those stringers, foam, and floor. All by yourself you could do it for $500-$800.
