Any of you guys have a solution for muck at the bottom, especially by the shore. Our lake is pretty down right now, exposing more of the bottom.

Thanks,
Brent

More water.

Prop rebuild
When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

Brent,
What is trying to get so ellequently stated here is that you are perverbally screwed !!!

Bodies of water all over the country are seeing record drought figures. Nothing you can do other than request more piering to get you to the water..

May need to play in a different lake for awhile until it rains...

Sorry..

Lots of interesting suggestions.

Here in Tampa, it rains most afternoons in the summer. Started a little late this year, but is happening now.

Was just seeing if someone had any home remedies for muck elimination, trying to take advantage of the lower level. Dredging is being discussed by a few neighbors. It makes for a good time to fix docks and sea walls.

....the new guy's looking for answers and everyones'a a comedian. Our water level in the Orlando area is down too. And muck is now more of an issue. We dredged a few years ago, but it seems to come back. Part of it has to do with how well the public works departments keep the street drains maintained. Between leaves, sand, grass clippings, road debris, and other "stuff", it builds up over time. The rains will come and fill up the lakes like they always have in the past, we just hope sooner rather than later.

I've heard of it- kinda like rid-ex for your septic system, right?

IMO- you have to remove it- rent a mini excavator and do it an afternoon.
then dump sand.

Watch out because the DNR may not like it!! I would hate for you to be fined plus have to put the muck back in the lake. We just had a case in northern Wi. where old tree stumps were removed. The guy was fined 10K and had to replace them.
