Michel, A shift cable that is out of adjustment will simply cause the trans not to shift when it is supposed to. |

I'm not the expert here, but it sounds like the plate if your motor and idle are soild
it'll take a few, but read through Eric's alignment thread |

(Dont hope that the damper plate is bad though...) Is it also possible that the gear-shift-cable is not properly adjusted? Michel |

When I shift from neutral idle to forward- or reverse idle (650 RPM), I hear a strange rattling noise probably coming from the gearbox.
When I increase RPM to about 800 or higher, the noise dissapears. Is this a gearbox which is going to crash soon, or has somebody an idea what it could be? Thx, Michel |
