I just wanted to bring these pics up for you guys to see what it is that I build at work .
This is a 85 ton Etnyre lowboy that ways over 60,000 lbs . It is aproximatly 130 feet long .this trailer took around 1,200 man hours to build . Our easier 55 ton tralors can take as little as 225 hours to build . You guys may see this one around Oaklahoma City . This picture is of the area that hooks up to the truck . I put Wendy and the kids in there so you would get an idea how big it is . This is a pic of the back part that swivles while you go around a corner . This is a 75 ton that we make for the Liddel company . |

Pat, We had a machinery hauler bringing in 2 - 500ton Clearing stamping presses from Ohio about 3 years ago. They were hauling them on a rig like the one you guys make and my have even been yours. Are there lots who build them? Well anyway, on the first trip, at about the Indiana and Illinois line, the tongue of the brand new trailer broke off right at the low boy bed. The driver said that the trailer came to a very fast stop!! All the weldments had broken. If it was your trailer, I hope you're not in the welding dept!!

That's crazy. I see trailers like that once in a while going down 80 here in northern IN. They always have a police escort, and are usually hauling some insanely long piece of equipment. Those are cool pics. Rob |

Pete Those were not our trailers . The biggest one that I can ever remember making was a 112 ton that went over seas to a desert.
Rob Thanks we usually make 55 ton trailers. normally average 5 or 6 a week . |

That's cool Pat. With a little reworking we could put a whole reunion's-worth of boats on that thing.
