We caught atleast six in a half hour ,of these with a net while our river was out of its banks at about 7 feet above normal.They were mostly between 8 & 10 pounds .

Was there much crap floating down river? I heard of trees docks, etc.... Im wondering when it will be safe to go out again? This sucks.....

Steve , The pics were taken in page park . Still a lot of crap floating . probably be atleast a month before we can get back out . unless your like the four idiots that were skiing in it last Wednesday.
HW we caught them all with a net . We tried to catch them with our hands first but they were to strong and slimy . |

Those pics remind me of the time when our youngest caught a snapping turtle in a net; it cut through the net in about 10 seconds. Glad to see you're finding a way to enjoy the flood. Chuck |
