Found a 1953 CC on Dayton Ohio Craigslist today. It is under the "boat parts" heading. No pics but if someone wants me to put eyes on it I can. Sorry, I don't know how to add a link.

I've been watching this one too. The price keeps going down every week, I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad sign. Its still a lot of boat for the money. Interior looks rough. |

Might want to add a bit of tension on the belts too! I figured as long as the shaft is showing in the other pictures maybe it comes with the boat. Curious about the seats, Didn't think a Wildcat had a rear facing seat. |

Maybe this is worth the price if someone is looking for a donor motor and trans. A few other parts like the morse control might also be interchangeable. Please correct me if I am wrong. |

Since the ebay thread seems inactive thought I'd put this here-
[/IMG] Expensive boat to join Team Red. It's got some red flags,no trailer, seems like it might be underpowered with a 302 and no electronics. Stored inside but the teak looks weathered. Shine on deck and hull look great though- if only half the price you could finish her up--- ebay link |

It's got a 351 in it, is it a barefoot or a Dominique? Interesting placement of the safety collar, so see Pete, Charlie has room

Wow Gary, you don't miss anything but, I sure wasn't looking for the collar there!! No wonder he states: "Has new strut bearing". I don't think he thought about water lubrication!! |

"Needs to be assembled". Understatement of the year. Could be a very good way into a beautiful Mustang if you're willing to take it back to bare hull though.

But not at 1900 bucks Pete. If it has a glass windshield maybe 500 tops.

I would do better than $500 for a glass windshield and part it out. I would love to have spare glass in stock. It looks like plastic to me though.

Not sure what this is but it's $400.00 and it is located in Hampton Bays Long Island. I went to look at it, looks pretty rough and no trailer.

Freeport or southwind (18' or 20', hull is essentially the same). Doubt it's worth the $400 he wants for it, it's been listed on and off for a few years. Wouldn't fit on your SN trailer, most likely- deep vee strakes will cross bunks and running gear probably hangs too low. Seat shells and a few other parts are mildly desirable but probably not worth enough to offset the cost of scrapping the hull.
