'01 SAN in TX - $25K

This one confuses me a bit, says it's a SAN, but doesn't have the wrap around seating. I looked in the reference section and the pics for SANs in '00 and '01 have the wrap around seating. Has anyone seen one with this set-up before?

I've not seen that configuration before either. The wraparound seat base, on the port side in an 01, is a plastic insert held in with only a couple of Thumb screws. It would be easy to remove. Still, you would need to change the cushion configuration which passed across the wrap an onto the back seat in an 01. Not sure if that would be factory or if someonone modified. BKH

Dank,

I'm not sure if you're asking about the setup just out of principle or if you're interested in the boat. I can't be the only person that thinks that boat looks overpriced based on the condition in the photos. It almost looks like it was stored without a cover. My $.02.

Does it come with a Sunbrella cover, or a Sunbrella screen?

Interesting to look at but a bit pricey at 5900. Has no actual MFR referenced in the desc anywhere. Olds V8.

I'm going to take a punt and say that the 2 filler cushions for the wrap around lounge are now the rear lounge cushions?

Getting rid of the side lounges has effectively created more interior space by reducing the no. of seats.

I thought this was a little too pricey, owner writes "In process of installing new stringers and floor..No time to finish" which I read as "ripped out the floor, saw how bad the stringers were, and now I'm selling it", I'd say $4500 can buy you a "turnkey" boat at this time of year and in these ecomomic times. Maybe a few years older, but a lot more solid. BTW, This boat is in the area I live, if anyone is interested, I'm not able to give you a mechanical opinion, but I can take pictures if you need.

I agree that $4500 would normally be exceptionally pricey for a major project- except this one has a newer trailer and a new-ish PCM Excalibur engine. That motor would set you back $8k if you were to buy it new from SkiDIM.

Interior looks solid as well, if I was in Florida or gas was real cheap I would definitely make money off that boat.

But what is the deal with it being a red boat with a blue interior? The background looks like a dealer or salvage yard. I wonder if he was putting 2 different boats together. It might be a 'newer' engine, trans and interior out of a wreck for the red hull.
