That Fish Nautique is only 45min from me. EFI big block is really nice, although it looks like you can't change the spark plugs or oil filter without removing the deck. Wonder what's wrong with it.

Larry,
Yes, I looked up the formal definition:

"an open deck on a cabin cruiser located above the bridge on the cabin roof and usually having a duplicate set of navigating equipment"

Probably needs spark plugs and an oil change.

Yeah, I noticed that too. W'hat a shame. When I had the cover made for my skier years ago, I had the shop mount the snap bases into the bottom of the rub rail mount. Looked terrific and all hidden.

When I was shopping for a 236, I passed up dozens of boats with snaps in the glass. The first one I found without snaps in the glass with a nice color scheme I bought it as soon as I could.

I guess I shouldn't share a pic of the snaps on my boat. I don't really have a choice for a secure cover where my boat rubs on dock posts all day. But due to circumstances I actually have more than one set of snaps. I'll fill one set... some day.

Have I ever mentioned that my standard screenname elsewhere is functionoverfashion?

I still enjoy looking/admiring other CCs/nautiques, but I die a little on the inside seeing snaps in the glass.

That boat needs a lot more than an engine, trailers worth more than the boat.

Geese guys, tough crowd here. That trailer is 2600$ worth of junk but from the pics boat looks well worthy. That upholstery will clean up well enough. But 4600$ package is hard to swallow for a project with no engine. Now that ~02 Ski Nautique for $500 from about two weeks ago, that boat was a hunk of junk.

That's a lovely bumper there. It doesn't solve for an over-the-rubrail cover rubbing on the dock posts.

I went around and around about this, I could have tied the boat off to the shore in a way that pulled it away from the dock. But there's just no easy way to do that, where everyone who uses the boat could do it. Snaps it is.

Here's a direct link
The Hercules/Chris B is pretty common. My 54 Atom has one but tagged as a Correct Craft. The 16' is rounded off as it's really a 15' 6".

Clearly!

Appears to be a Southwind, given the forward and aft deck hardware. Definitely a deep-V...
