It's too long to be a Atom. Probably a Rocket or maybe even a Aqua Skier. I guess the deck was beyond refinishing so he just painted it! The windshield isn't appropriate. |

That's a creepy add, sounds more like a personals than a for sale. |

What happend to the post for this boat? I hope we're not editing posts out of fear of being sniped from another member, that's not how I thought this thread worked... *edit - I see it in the eBay thread. Dennis, why don't you share with the forums that you bought the boat? I think it's fun to "close the loop" with boat purchases talked about on the site. |

Didn't someone recently ask if new riser style manifolds would fit under a 60's fiberglass dog house? Now we know for sure!! EDIT: They don't fit under the dog house! |

Pete, look real close to the motorbox pic and the motor pic. Looks like a wood spacer to raise the box.

Gary, I did see the wood spacer and that's why I said we now know for sure. Sorry I wasn't clearer. |

As soon as I opened up that CL ad my head instinctively turned away. I had to hold my eye lids open to notice that collar.

On the contrary, I do believe the good Doctor ran conventional cast iron pyramid manifolds on his glass motorbox'd American Skier prior to splurging on the Hiteks. The risers shown in that picture are beefier/wider than the regular PCM style. |
