Do we dare ask how you happen to know that?

Well it was listed in Connecticut

Because it was a project boat listed for $1k that was within a half hour of my house? Of course Im going to go look!

I thought long and hard but decided to pass. It had a non-original trailer, trashed interior and a lot of chipping along the starboard chine. The M17 isnt my favorite, but I was pretty close to grabbing it anyways! With my long list of projects, its probably best that I passed.

Not Craigslist or CC but there is a nice looking Donzi for sale over by my office in the Downtown Dallas area. 22ft Classic. 185 hr 496hp H.O. No idea on the price but I can get a number if anyone feels the need to own one.

Don't know the year but best I can tell it's the current one. Looks just like the one on the website. Classic 22. Same color too I think. Donzi

I did not get out to look at the interior but the exterior looked nice.

Are you local or do you want me to get you a phone number?

This just popped up in Massachusetts. There's been nothing all winter, but I guess people around here wait till Spring is in sight:

Model Year 2001 Ski Nautique 196

Price looks a little bit high to me but looks to be in good shape with fairly low hours.

martinique indianapolis (not mine) $4000

This one isn't the one I have posted. Seems like a good price for someone to own an open bow cc.

The trailer has to be worth at least $1000 alone. I didn't even think of that. Maybe the guy would trade me the tandem trailer for my single and some cash.

He does state he doesn't know much about boats so I will take that into consideration. However, this staement: "This is a true ski boat!" sounds like he needs more boating/skiing time. I've never considered a Martinique to fall into this catagory! The earlier ones are close....

Pete,

I have to agree with you. There is a major towing difference between a 1986 2001 SN and a 1986 Martinique. The Martinique is more in the lines of a pleasure boat. It is great for a family with children who mostly tube and want the extra space of the open bow.

I always wanted one of those boomerangs when I was a kid. Used to be an all red one running on the river back in the day. Love the lines of those things.

Ditto. I always liked the looks/lines of them too. Sat in the water real nice.

I always liked the all red. There was one for sale close by not too long ago and a decent price. At the end of the day, I'd rather put new stringers in a CC but it would have been a cool project.

I may have even seen one with a GT-40?
