Keegan,

Shoot me an email some time. Just curious where in NC you are. A friend of mine in SC might be buying my boat and I was hoping I could negotiate with him possibly picking up that cudda for me over by you on his trip up to NJ.

I had pictures sitting in my inbox this morning- boat looks pretty good. Im wondering if its been painted though- that blue just looks too darn clean and bright. The seats and bow light would imply that it might be a '68 though- but the pylon would imply '69. Maybe a late '68? Ive been on the lookout for a blue/cream '68 for a while (Dad had one), but its been hard to find.

I dont know if the bimini is original or not, but it sure is aweful looking.

That '99 Python looks familiar- maybe its the decals on the valvecovers that Im remembering?

Yeah, probably not enough power for good tubing. I know Pete's tubing boats usually have over 500 HP.

Tim,
Just looking at the craigs list picture, it looks like paint to me too!!

The topper (They didn't have biminis back then) looks like a taylor made original to the era but dealer installed aftermarket.

I am looking into this one. It may be one I looked at a couple of months back and was rather rough and had been in salt water (a-lot) that is if it is the same one I looked at!!

Ha, but youre so close! I think an extra space in the hyperlink will result in an extra "http//" at the beginning, which makes it not work.

This '76 in Orlando looks to be a pretty good value for $2500.

If it is the same one I looked at in Feb it is not a good buy I passed at $1500.00.

Do you mean the '80 in Panama City (needs engine) or the '76 in Orlando (supposedly with a fresh rebuild)?

This boat is not far from me. 20 minutes max. I would also bet that it is painted based on the color. If not, WOW! I'm glad to swing by a take a look if you are interested. The major issue around here is salt water. There's no fresh water in or near Arbutus. It looks really clean in the picture though.

Thanks for the offer John..

I have been emailing and asked to come by this weekend to have a
look but after receiving the pictures, nothing.
If you find yourself in the area and can have a look see I would
greatly appreciate it.
I am interested if it has been painted and the overall condition of the
boat. I am not interested in rebuilding another boat this year but
would like to pick up a water ready Mustang that looks good.
I can see that the motor was painted with a spray can but the boat,
overall, looks well taken care of.

Thanks again for the offer.
