For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

I am interested if it has been painted and the overall condition of the
boat. I am not interested in rebuilding another boat this year but
would like to pick up a water ready Mustang that looks good.
I can see that the motor was painted with a spray can but the boat,
overall, looks well taken care of.

Thanks again for the offer.

Roger,

I'm glad to swing by. Do you have an address?

The weak spot in the floor question should go to Andy (okie boarder). He at first thought his weak spot was normal too! Have you seen his Supra stringer thread here on site? Very interesting to say the least!! BTW, he came here for help, got tons of it and his job was one of the best.

Sounds like the predessessor to the Skylark, an early LH American Skier. Surprised there's no history about it pulling skiers at Cypress Gardens.

Wasn't the oddfire Buick 231 the V6 Super Sabre, 155 HP? If so, no way there is 300 ft.-lb. torque, probably more like 200. Or am I wrong and it was a V8?

Pictures would help. At least he isn't asking $17,000 for it.

prototype

Its appreciated $1600 in the past 3 weeks. Better jump on it now before it is $17,000.

My
Skylark has the Universal Super Sabre Buick V-6 225 155 HP Odd-Fire--   The 231 was like early 70's I think.

This is what Real Estate people refer to as "Seasonality."

Homes always sell for more in the warmer months when the grass is green and the flowers/trees are blooming. Boat buyers will pay more when the lake is in liquid form
