OBAMA'S CHURCH
I may be about to stir up a hornets nest on this one , but I had to pass it on.If his name was David Duke and his background tested , what would be the out cry from the press and the "Other Side"......... Subject: TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST During this campaign for the Presidency, It's interesting that so much has been made of Mitt Romney's Mormom religion, while we hear so little of Barack Obama's, outside of the denials of his being Muslim. However, if you look more closely at Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama's church, it sounds more like a racist cult than anything else, with a committment, not to America, but to Africa. Scary, when you consider this man could be the President of this United States. Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting. Obama's church: Please read and go to this church's website and read what is written there. It is very alarming. Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where is AMERICA even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama's church... B-L-A-C-K!!! Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing. This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested in a Black Africa! I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers. This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family & friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for the presidency, is really scary. Interesting, but I'm for McCain, or in a pinch Romney, Rudi, or Thompson.

That's not going to be good when that comes out, and it will. I wouldn't vote for anyone that belongs to a church that demands committment to another courty. I have another problem with him. I caught some of his speech on tv today from NH. He said that we could fix America, then he went on to say we can fix the world. Right now I only care about the U.S. getting back on it's feet. The rest of the world needs to fend for itself.
Don't get me wrong all the candidates have flaws. This is just the beginning. Can't wait until the mudd slinging commercials start. |

I have yet to see Obama wear a Flag pin on any of his suits, or even place his hand on his heart for the National Anthem or Pledge of Allegance. Not to mention he was swore into office with his hand on the Koran, not the bible. All this scares me.

They only question I have for him is where does he stand on the closing of Yellowstone National Park to snowmobiles .
Seriously, that whole church thing is rather alarming.I was listening to an interview with him today on the local rock station(in N.H.,where I work)and to me he sounded as bad as George Bush does in an unrehearsed speech...almost like he's unsure of the answers he's giving. Mike |

If they let Obama win the democratic primary, then there will be another republican pres. Just my two cents.

Actually, Hilary has far more negative or unfavorable responses in polls than Obama. At this point, she is nearly statistically un-electable. Also, Obama, being a minority, will be very hard to go negative on.
I think Obama, with the liberal, politically correct, women and sound bite independent support would be very difficult to beat. The dude is a rock star right now. If you veer right, Hilary is the one you want to run against, although it will be a VERY long year. |

[QUOTE=87BFN owner] Steve I disagree with you on that, for these reasons.
Please read this! Then share it! > > > Who is Barack Obama? > > Very interesting and something that should be considered in your choice. > > We checked this out on "snopes.com". It is factual. Check for yourself. >QUOTE] Don't let other people check your facts for you, if you actually do go to Snopes.com and check this you will find out it is not factual. I am no obama fan, but please do not rely on slander emails and push polls to provide the information you choose candidates on |

Tough call BFN.
Clinton, being a woman (not an old white guy), can and soon will start attacking Obama on these and other issues, whether directly or indirectly (she has a highly effective staff that can "leak negative attacks"-James Carville anyone?). If he can bury, side-step or address these issues in the primaries and make them old news, and still win the primary, any negative attacks from and "evil old white republican" will surely backfire. The guy will be pretty much untouchable. With his excellent speaking abilities, good looks, underdog positioning and the fact that he is not GWB, he will be the republican's worst nightmare. Oh, yes. And what will clinch the deal? OPRAH! I'll take on ol' saddlebags any day. |

Steve,
I have my own opinion on both Obama and Clinton, I dislike both of them and would much rather see Edwards win the primary. Not sure which republican I want to see win the primary. But so far I may have missed it but I dought it, I have not seen Obama mention anything about addressing the NAFTA or CAFTA. Those two are a very big issue for me and most likely for some others here. |

While waaaay over-simplified, the quiz yielded pretty accurate results, for me, anyhow.
Remember, for the most part, Dems, Repubs and Indies all want the same thing. The goals very similar. Who doesn't want clean water and air? Everyone wants a strong economy. I haven't met a single person who wishes for an insecure nation. However, the methods and policies used in attempt to achieve the common goals are drastically different. To understand these differences and their unintended consequences are necessary to finding a candidate that reflects your beliefs. Sadly, I'm guessing no more than 30% of the voting population will do so. This is proven by the effectiveness of sound-bite politics and the cult of personality and popularity. Friends, in the end, we reap what we sow. |
